The CHT has several projects running around the country through local groups. As part of its support for these schemes we are happy to publicise information about the involvment of these groups and those local organisations that are supporting them. These include:
About Belvoir First Aid:
Belvoir First Aid is a registered charity (1122209) offering medical services at local events and first aid training, aiming to increase the awareness of first aid in the public and local communities. Established in 2006, Belvoir First Aid has built a good reputation for the services it offers, and is one of the few operators in the country of 4x4 ambulances. Services are offered free to Vale organisations, but it relies on donations and local public support for funding. A member of the Association of First Aiders, BFA continues to expand its role in the Vale and continues to seek volunteers to help support medical services at local events. www.belvoirfirstaid.org.uk
About Village Link Magazines Limited:
The Village Link Magazine is a free A5 glossy, full colour magazine which is distributed to over 13,400 homes in 92 villages around Grantham and the Vale of Belvoir. Established in 2005, it provides extremely cost-effective, high quality advertising for businesses wishing to get their message across to people who live in the villages. It contains advertorials, competitions and regular features written by local people and is the major source of information for the villages when it comes to finding a suitable contractor or event. All advertisers receive a free listing on www.linkmagazines.co.uk, where there is also an on-line version of the magazine. The Village Link also provides support for non-profit-making groups and charities in the form of free advertising and monthly calendar listings. All events are also available on the events calendar on the website.
